Lincoln Road Mall
Shopping
Lincoln Road is a pedestrian mall located between Alton Road and Washington Avenue. It is a flourishing shopping and dining area. The most sophisticated stores offer unique items most typically not found in malls, and restaurants, cafés, bars and lounges are common. Most restaurants offer either indoor or outdoor seating, including in the middle of the pedestrian mall area. And without a doubt, the people watching on Lincoln Road can match any place in the world. There seems to be a constant flow of very attractive women and men passing by, many wear fashionable clothes with a major dose of style.

Exploring the Journey and Power of Art and Design
In a neighborhood of Miami Beach that's otherwise largely given over to the commercial, the Wolfsonian-FIU is a block-long building whose elegant exterior makes the visitor or local pause in a busy day. And hopefully, go in and look at some of the extensive array of exhibits and visiting installations devoted to telling some of the story of that contemporary world around it.
The Wolfsonian-FIU functions as a museum, library, and research center that uses objects to illustrate the persuasive power of art and design, to explore what it means to be modern, and to tell the story of social, political, and technological changes that have transformed our world. The collections comprise approximately 120,000 objects from the period of 1885 to 1945—the height of the Industrial Revolution to the end of the Second World War—in a variety of media including furniture; industrial-design objects; works in glass, ceramics, and metal; rare books; periodicals; ephemera; works on paper; paintings; textiles; and medals.
